Lionfish Bookend

This is a bookend from the apartment, we were gifted this by a lady cleaning out a storage container, for this we had to spray the item with spray chalk and then craft the textures by hand to look as similar to the original as possible. This was the moment I learned Reality Capture is a powerful tool it was able to capture the casting issues of the Lionfish when it was first made. There was an important piece to this photoshoot we could not move the item. It would ruin the chalk spray. So when taking photos it was important to raise the tri-pod up and down and move the camera accordingly to get the best 360 of the necessary angles.
